Three Weeks Old
This week the puppies are walking & beginning to play with one another. Occasionally I hear little "barks". Poppy continues to feed them regularly and by the end of next week we'll be starting with some soaked puppy food as teeth are beginning to come through . Our grandchildren & neices gave them their names.

We're thankful Poppy had a smooth, trouble free delivery of her 6 puppies! Poppy is a very attentive mother and spends the first 3 days with her babies continually which helps them get a good solid start. After 3 days she leaves her pen for short periods to take a break but is quick to return when she hears a squeak! :)
